Plenty of PS5 Photos And Footage Have Been Released

October 5, 2020

As we get closer and closer to the launch of the PS5, which is just over five weeks away now, we find ourselves wanting to see the console more. Despite seeing it in trailers, we haven’t actually seen a photo of a physical console. That’s why we were paying attention to the news that Japanese Youtubers would be going hands on with the console over the weekend. We were hoping to catch more shots of the console, along with some game footage to keep us entertained. Well, they certainly delivered, with heaps of PS5 game footage and even some photos of the PS5 and Dualsense dropping.

PS5 game footage came in the form of Godfall, Astro’s Playroom, Devil May Cry 5 and Balan Wonderworld, with plenty of different Youtubers chucking up their own footage. Astro’s Playroom and Godfall both showed off the super quick loadtimes of the console, with insanely fast respawns and reloads after death, as well as super short loads into levels in Astro’s Playroom. Given this was preview hardware, we could even see those times improve at launch.

The biggest part of the weekend came in the form of an article from 4gamer, which came with a massive number of high quality photos of the console and DualSense. There’s plenty of close up shots to peruse over at 4gamer, and we picked out a few of our favourites to highlight here. All of these images are smaller than what’s available over at 4gamer, so make sure you head over there as well.

There’s plenty more PS5 game footage and photos online out of Youtube Gaming Week, so jump over to Youtube and you’ll be able to find plenty more to check out!
