PlayStation Classic’s full games list revealed

Back in September we reported that Sony would be releasing a PlayStation Classic console on December 3, 2018 at the suggested retail price of AU$149.95. Today, Sony has revealed the final list of the 20 games that will be preloaded on the system.

Fan favourites Metal Gear Solid, Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee and Resident Evil are included, as well as some surprise entries such as Syphon Filter, Rayman and even the original Grand Theft Auto.  Without further ado, here is the final list:

  • Battle Arena Toshinden
  • Cool Boarders 2
  • Destruction Derby
  • Final Fantasy VII
  • Grand Theft Auto
  • Intelligent Qube
  • Jumping Flash!
  • Metal Gear Solid
  • Mr. Driller
  • Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee
  • Rayman
  • Resident Evil: Director’s Cut
  • Revelations: Persona
  • Ridge Racer Type 4
  • Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo
  • Syphon Filter
  • Tekken 3
  • Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six
  • Twisted Metal
  • Wild Arms

With such a huge library of games released on the PS1 it would certainly have been no easy task to narrow down which ones made the cut. Hopefully there are at least a few gems that catch your eyes and perhaps even the odd game or two you never got around to playing back in the day.
