Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto has revealed Pikmin 4 is in development.

Speaking to Eurogamer in July this year, Miyamoto revealed the title “[is] actually very close to completion,” and that the “Pikmin teams are always working on the next one”.

“We can confirm that Pikmin 4 is in development,” Nintendo confirmed in a separate statement. “But that is all we can confirm at present”.

With Pikmin 4 supposedly in late development stages, one can only speculate if the game is going to be released on the Wii U, 3DS or possibly be a launch title for the NX console. Stay tuned to Rocket Chainsaw for more information as it becomes available.
