It was just over a month ago that 2K announced the return of the PGA TOUR series. Once an EA stalwart series, it met its demise relatively quickly after moving away from the Tiger Woods name and the recognition that brought. With a couple of successful golf games under their publishing hat, 2K made the move to go deep on the PGA license, bringing the name back in a way that hasn’t been seen in years. Now, 2K has confirmed the members of the PGA TOUR 2K21 commentary team you can look forward to listening to in-game.
Headlining the commentary team are two heavy hitters, Luke Elvy and Rich Beem. Elvy is an Australian golf commentator who has had a number of stunts with outlets like CBS and Fox Sports, while Beem is a three time PGA Tour winner himself who currently works for Sky Sports in commentary and analysis positions. There’s no doubt that there’s some experience behind the PGA TOUR 2K21 commentary team. Both will provide analysis and swing by swing commentary as you play through the game, so don’t be surprised to hear them call out your worse moments along with the good.
PGA TOUR 2K21 releases for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on 21/08/2020. For more details, check out the official site.
