PAX Aus 2015: Nintendo Australia line-up announced

Nintendo Australia has announced today, via a press release, what will be on show at their PAX Australia booth.

Wii U fans can look forward to playing the following games:

  • Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash
  • Project Zero: Maiden of Black Water
  • Xenoblade Chronicles X
  • Mighty No. 9
  • Fast Racing Neo

Meanwhile, those wanting to check out the latest Nintendo 3DS games can look forward to:

  • Yo-Kai Watch
  • Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer
  • Skylanders Super Chargers Racing
  • The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes

In addition to the playable games, from 5pm – 6pm every day Nintendo will host events at the Galah Theatre.

On the Friday there will be a Super Smash Bros. amiibo Partner Battle Championship. Players who register prior to 4:30pm on the day will be able to compete in a Super Smash Bros. for Wii U 8-player Smash tournament with their amiibo at their side. The winner will receive a complete set of the currently released Super Smash Bros. amiibo collection.

On Saturday the stage will have a Super Mario Maker Make-Off. Nintendo will invite local videogame developers Nnooo and Tin Man Games to take on videogame critics from MMGN and Stevivor and go head-to-head in designing Super Mario Maker levels. Nintendo warns to expect the unexpected.

On Sunday you can wind down with a special screening of the Yo-Kai Watch anime series before it official begins airing on TV in December.
