Bandai Namco has announced Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 will be coming to the PS4, Xbox One and PC in September this year.

The game will feature 3D mazes with unique visuals, a new “ghost bump” ability, boss battles with giant sized ghosts and build upon the “Chain Eating” mechanic introduced in Championship Edition DX.  Chain Eating allows players to build up to four ghosts and then chomp down for the maximum score.

There will also be an Adventure mode which will have players chasing moving fruits, battling bosses and encountering new ways to play the classic Pac-Man. The popular Score Attack mode will also be returning.
