During this morning’s Nintendo Direct presentation, Nintendo revealed the title for their next Yoshi game will be Yoshi’s Crafted World, which is in development for the Nintendo Switch.

Beyond the trailer below little else was announced except the title, however it appears that the game will feature local co-op and the ability to flip levels and play them backwards. The last Yoshi title in the series was Yoshi’s Woolly World in 2015 for the Wii U, which was also ported to the 3DS.

Originally, Nintendo announced an unnamed Yoshi game for the Switch in November 2017 during a Nintendo Direct. At the time it was given a tentative 2018 release window, but now it’s known as Yoshi’s Crafted World and has a release date of Spring 2019.

If he can shoot it, explode it, or burn it James probably enjoys playing it. We still don't have any idea what 'it' is and we're honestly too afraid to ask.
