The latest edition of the Nintendo Store Update sees three new games spread across Nintendo’s consoles. On the WiiWare front, players can expect to see Violin Paradise to now be available to them. Meawhile, handheld lovers can look forward to grabbing Pirates Assault and SpeedThru: Potzol’s Puzzle on the 3DS and DSiWare download services respectively.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Violin Paradise sees players take to the sound-stage as a violinist, in a game not unlike Guitar Hero for those wanting a music game with a more classical lean.

Title: Pirates Assault

Pirates Assault is a tower defense game, involving players controlling sea-bound scallywags as they attempt to protect their buried loot, where rum is used as currency for upgrades and can be plundered from other vessels.

Title: SpeedThru: Potzol’s Puzzle
System: 3DS Download
Price: $9.00

At first glance it may look like yet another version of Tetris, this game actually involves using similar-looking blocks to fill in gaps in walls with various flips and rotations. A WiiWare version has also made the rounds, but this edition spices up the presentation a bit to make it a more solid and interesting game to look at.
