Is This the Next Gen Xbox Store?

Microsoft has reportedly been busy working on a next gen Xbox Store for the Xbox One console range and perhaps the Xbox Series X. Images surfacing on Twitter have shown a sleeker more user-friendly design, which appears to be far easier to navigate.

With the next generation of consoles less than six months away, we’re happy to see a redesign in the next gen Xbox Store and possibly a new PlayStation Store too, though Sony has typically kept their dashboard and layout familiar to its users.

Check out the images of the alleged next gen Xbox Store below:

The new design looks quite similar to the layout of the Windows Xbox Store, which makes sense as Microsoft continues to align its console gaming with PC.

We’re looking forward to the Xbox 20/20 event that is currently scheduled to take place in July. Expect to see some big announcements such as real gameplay footage for the highly anticipated Halo Infinite, a reveal of Forza Motorsport 8, and plenty of surprise announcements. With 15 in-houes studios working on titles for the next generation of Xbox, Microsoft will have plenty to show off, so stay tuned to Rocket Chainsaw for all the latest on the Xbox Series X.
