Sega have unveiled a new gameplay video for the long awaited follow up to the mainline Sonic series – Sonic Forces.

The video features a short runthrough of what is undoubtedly one of the first stages of the game, showcasing gameplay for Classic Sonic running through Green Hill Zone. From this short video alone, the game appears to share many similarities to 2012’s Sonic Generations visual style and mechanics, through including the retro-styled version of the hedgehog and one of his most famous levels, redesigned once again for a modern audience.
