Electronic Arts today uploaded a new NHL 18 trailer to their EA Sports YouTube channel promoting the return of the 3v3 mode, and also included a surprising feature at the end: playable mascots!

That’s right, in NHL 18 you’re going to be able to play as the mascot of your favourite team. It appears the mascots can also perform unique moves and abilities, however the exact details of this are yet to be revealed. We’re excited to get our hands on a playable Fin the Whale from the Vancouver Canucks!
