New Epic Mickey 2 Media And Info

March 26, 2012

We reported earlier that Epic Mickey 2 was accidentally revealed in a Nintendo magazine. Disney have since come out and officially announced the game, whose full title is Epic Mickey 2:  The Power Of Two. The game will be coming to Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in September. They’ve also released the first screenshots, as well as the box art. Unlike the first game, Epic Mickey 2 will feature both single-player and co-op modes. When two players are present, the second one controls Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, one of Walt Disney’s earliest creations. The co-op mode is of the drop in, drop out at any time variety. Both characters will be wielding paintbrushes, as in the first game, and will use them to repair their crumbling world. The game will feature support for the PS3’s Move controller, but not the 360’s Kinect sensor. The Move support is completely optional though, you can also control Mickey’s painbrush by using the right analog stick on the PS3 controller.
