New DiRT 4 Trailer Showcases Rallycross Gameplay

May 24, 2017

Codemasters has today uploaded a new trailer for the upcoming racing title DiRT 4, due to be released in just two weeks. The new trailer features World Rallycross gameplay, and has cars racing around the circuit tracks, getting all up in each-others grills … literally.

DiRT 4 is the latest in a long line of rally games from Codemasters, which began with Paris to Dakar Rally on the ZX Spectrum back in 1991, although DiRT’s official origins came from the Colin McRae games, which began in 1998.

Rocket Chainsaw went hands-on with DiRT 4 back in February, and said “DiRT 4 builds on the success of Codemasters’ passion project from last year (DiRT RALLY), merging its best aspects into a brand new full-fledged sequel in the DiRT series, that promises not only realistic physics and handling, but variety and a comprehensive experience too.”

DiRT 4 is due out on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC on June 9, 2017. Click here to head to the official DiRT 4 website for more information.
