New Bethesda Comics Included in Upcoming Releases


Many words were used to describe Bethesda’s E3 2017 press conference. Extravagant? Unnecessary? Regardless of your thoughts, they delivered some big announcements including some big new titles, and today Bethesda went one step further by¬†announcing a partnership with Titan Comics to release new Bethesda comics for the upcoming Wolfenstein: The New Colossus, Dishonored: Death of the Outsider and The Evil Within 2.

The announcement was made via Titan Comics’ Facebook page and Tumblr account.

Dishonored: Death of the Outsider Announced at Bethesda Press Conference

Titan Comics will be producing a series of new Bethesda comics for each of the series’, which will be available both physically and digitally as each game is released.

First up we have Dishonored, which is written by Michael Moreci and illustrated by Andrea Olimpieri and Mattia Iacono. The new Bethesda comic titled “The Peeress and the Price” will have story content that ties in with the upcoming Dishonored: Death of the Outsider game. The comic will launch on September 27.

The Evil Within Issue #1, written by Ryan O’Sullivan and illustrated by Damien Worm and Syzmon Kudranski, will launch on September the 6th:

And finally, Wolfenstein’s comic is written by Dan Watters and illustrated by Piotr Kowalski and Ronilson Freire. The comic will be a story prequel to the upcoming¬†Wolfenstein: The New Colossus, and will release on September 13:

Comic book series’ have always had a place in the world of video games with many games being spawned from comics, so it’s great to see these new Bethesda comics taking the opposite approach, and we’re excited to see how it will affect our journeys in these upcoming blockbuster titles from Bethesda.
