EA has announced that Ghost Games latest entry in the Need for Speed franchise will be a full reboot of the series.

Unveiled with a CGI trailer filled with beats and cars reminiscent of Need for Speed Underground, it looks like the recent rumours of this game being styled off Need for Speed Underground could well be correct.

Not many details are known so far, except that the game will require an online connection to be played and will be released in the Spring of 2015 south of the equator.

Further details on the game are set to be unveiled on June 16 at EA’s E3 press conference.
