EA Play 2018: NBA LIVE 19 Release Date & Trailer

It’s E3 2018 time and EA has kicked things off with the EA Play 2018 press conference. While a ton of games were included, NBA LIVE 19 only came up briefly. We can however share with you the NBA LIVE 19 release date and a one minute trailer that should tide you over until more information is revealed.

Interestingly, the NBA LIVE 19 release date is four days ahead of its rival NBA 2K19. Rocket Chainsaw can’t wait to see the heat between these two titles as we get closer to their launch at the start of September 2019.

The official reveal trailer shows a bunch of basketball courts from around the world, as well as a teaser for character customisation, however no actual gameplay footage is shown. The winner this year could come down to how a player is able to develop their character to become a pro, and whether it will be a tedious journey with digital currencies or if EA will ditch extra spending altogether like they appear to be doing in Battlefield V.

Create your player and rise to legend-status by playing at the most respected courts all over the world, and by building your squad to challenge for global dominance in THE LEAGUE and THE STREETS. With gameplay innovation including Real Player Motion Tech and new ways to develop your player, NBA Live 19 is the most authentic and responsive experience in franchise history.

The NBA LIVE 19 release date is September 7, 2018 and it will launch on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 platforms. There is no news yet as to whether Nintendo Switch or Windows PC fans will get any love. For more information, head to the official NBA LIVE website here.
