MTG Arena announces second Standard tournament with ESL Australia

Registrations are now open for Season 2 of  Magic: the Gathering Arena’s ANZ Champs, as the second Standard tournament has been announced, in partnership with ESL Australia.

This tournament, the final for the year, kicks off on 20 November, 2021 and will carry on for four weekends leading up to the Top 8 finals event on 19 December, on the ESL Australia Twitch channel.

If you want to participate, register at the official site, as players who perform well in the initial event, the Open Qualifiers, will advance to Single Elimination Sunday events and collect points to progress in the Seasonal Ladder. Eventually, the Top 8 players will compete on the Champions Stage. Prizes are also on offer, with a prize pool of AU $2,500, an exclusive MTG uncut sheet, MTG Arena gem codes, and TCG products from the latest set, Innistrad: Crimson Vow.
