Codemasters have today released the first gameplay trailer for their upcoming reboot of the Micro Machines racing franchise, Micro Machines World Series. It’s been 11 years since a Micro Machines game has been released, with the last game being Micro Machines V4 for the PlayStation 2 and over systems in 2006, but the tiny vehicles are back once again to unleash mayhem on your screens.
The gameplay reveal trailer shows off a range of vehicles, weapons and tracks that you will find within the game, including NERF weapons to destroy your enemies and a Hungry Hungry Hippos track where you need to negotiate the hungry hippos as well as your opponents. You’ll be able to play in classic race, elimination race and a range of battle modes against up to 3 friends locally or jump online for 12 players races and battles.
Micro Machines World Series releases on June 23 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
