While the Xbox Series X|S launch lineup might be somewhat anemic, one of the console exclusives launching with the console is The Falconeer. Billed as an open world air-combat RPG, The Falconeer is a unique take on air combat games, having you take control of a mounted-falcon, as opposed to the more generic airplanes and dragons we’ve become used to. With the game getting closer to release, a brand new trailer showing off the game’s factions has been released.

With the Great Ursee being a near-infinite body of earth and water, plenty of people in The Falconeer are trying to safeguard their assets on airships using mercenary Falconeers. There’s the North Imperium, the greatest power on Ursee and filled with nobles, and the Mancer Order, scholars who control access to all technology and guide people along ‘The Path’. You also have the Civilian Freehouses, which is made up of independent communities united in defense of local trades. Finally, there’s the Freebooter Rebellion, who are outcasts banished and now returning from their exile to wreak havoc on their longtime tormentors. You’ll be able to support any one of these factions when you play The Falconeer, so make sure to choose wisely.
