On Wednesday, Mojang and 4J Studios released a brand new patch for Minecraft across all console editions. As well as fixing various bugs and bringing the Switch version in line with other consoles, the update also brought a new Adventure Time themed Mash-up pack and skins from Magic: The Gathering.
The Adventure Time pack features various skins based on characters from the show including Finn, Jake, Ice King, Marceline, Princess Bubblegum and many, many more familiar faces. If that’s not enough to wet your appetite, you can also now explore the land of Ooo within Minecraft, including the Ice and Fire Kingdoms, and transform its landscape.
To name a few, Magic: The Gathering skins include Liliana, Chandra, Jace, Gideon, Avacyn, Emrakul and more!
Rocket Chainsaw was fortunate to be provided download codes for both packs. We have taken screenshots highlighting the Adventure Time Mash-Up landscape and some of our favourite skins.

Additions and Changes
- Added Glide!
- Updated Switch Features to be inline with other platforms
- Added Adventure Time Mash-up Pack.
- Added Magic: The Gathering Skin Pack.
- Added Chinese Mythology Battle Map.
- Added Temple, a free Glide track.
- Your best run in Glide will now be recorded (as long as it is under 5 minutes), and a Ghost will fly alongside you in Solo Mode to help you improve!
- The default controls have been changed slightly, and you can now define your own control scheme in the options menu.
- Added Pick Block – This is unassigned by default.
