It appears that Nintendo wish to make the first entry into the Kid Icarus series for over twenty years all the more memorable. IGN is reporting that, from March 8, Nintendo of America will be hosting multiplayer tournaments for Kid Icarus Uprising across the country, to be completed on March 22 in New York. Other cities involved include San Francisco, Orlando and Los Angeles.

There is no word on a possible Australian tournament for our own launch, but rest assured that Rocket Chainsaw will update as soon as we are aware of any more details.
