Hitman Season 2 In Development

November 6, 2016

It didn’t take long, IO Interactive has confirmed this week they are working on Hitman season 2. This week at Paris Games Week 2016, IO Interactive studio production director Hakan Abrak confirmed in an interview with gaming website Gamergen that after the success of the first season, they are creating Hitman season 2 to give players more of what they have been enjoying throughout 2016.

Abrak went on to say that the first season is not quite over yet, and areas such as Marrakesh and Paris will still be relevant in Hitman, with missions and special events possibly being added in future content updates.

Players that have played through Hitman season 1 will enjoy using their unlocked items in Hitman season 2, and it will continue to use the same launcher screen.

The complete Hitman season 1 will be available to purchase on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC at the start of 2017, but no information was given as to when we can expect the first episode of Hitman season 2, however March would be a likely month, if IO Interactive is looking to continue releasing the episodes in a similar pattern throughout 2017.
