Hitman delayed until March 2016

Developer IO Interactive has announced that Hitman has been delayed until March 2016.

Hitman was originally slated for release on December 8th this year. The game was going to follow an episodic-esque business model where additional content would be released over several months. Because of the delay, IO Interactive has promised the game will launch with a “good chunk” of content and a more streamlined frequency of updates.

IO Interactive also provided a comparison chart demonstrating the level size of Hitman. The Paris Showstopper level is estimated to be approximately six times larger than the Streets of Hope level in Hitman: Absolution. Other statistics revealed for Paris Showstopper include 100 “accident” assassination possibilities and 60 rooms to explore within the palace. The full comparison chart can be found below:
