Here’s What’s New in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

April 19, 2017

Nintendo has today uploaded a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on Nintendo Switch.

Returning characters will face off against all new racers in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and players will also enjoy the return of the Boo and Feather items, allowing you to steam items and turn invisible (Boo item) and jump over opponents and obstacles (Feather item).

You can also expect to find an option to have double items, a popular feature of the GameCube game Mario Kart Double Dash, as well as an all new 200cc class which is sure to test the best racers. Never fear though, Nintendo is also implementing Smart Steering mode which will keep you on track, mostly.

Lastly Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will include 8-player battle mode, an extremely popular Mario Kart mode which was missing from the Wii U Mario Kart 8.
