With the next-generation of console hardware getting closer and closer, it’s becoming more and more imperative to know the differences between the two major consoles launching. While we know the differences in specs between the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, until today, we only had a very narrow view on what games were coming to the platforms. Now, with both the PlayStation Games Showcase and the Xbox Games Showcase under our belts, we’ve got a view on a whole bunch of exclusive games coming to the platforms.

What are going to be the biggest difference between the two platforms other than their technical specs? PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X exclusive games of course. We’ve collated all the different PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X exclusive games in a set of twin articles, with this one in particular covering the PlayStation 5. For the purpose of this article, we have included games that are also coming to PC or another platform in the same company ecosystem (eg. games that are exclusively releasing on both PS4/PS5 or Xbox One/Series X).
We have also disqualified any games previously released on the console ecosystem that will be receiving a patch to run better on the newer platform. This list will only include games that are currently unavailable, but may release in the coming months prior to launch.
