Arc System Works are no strangers to fighting game success, but it feels like they’ve exploded over the last generation. Between Dragon Ball FighterZ, Granblue Fantasy Versus, Blazblue: Cross Tag Battle and more, Arc System Works have undoubtedly taken their output to another level in recent times. Now, fans of the Guilty Gear franchise have the opportunity to get some early hands on time with the latest game in the franchise Guilty Gear -Strive- in an open beta.
Releasing in a couple of months, Guilty Gear -Strive- is the first mainline title in the franchise since 2015, so fans are sure to want to get on board with the beta. The open beta will run from February 19th, 4:00AM CET through to February 21st, 3:00PM CET on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. To get access, you’ll need to register at the official website, with only a limited number of spots available. All up, the Guilty Gear -Strive- open beta will feature 13 of the games characters, along with cross-play functionality between the two PlayStation platforms.
Guilty Gear -Strive- releases on PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on April 9th, with the PlayStation 4 version including a free upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version. For more information, check the official website.
