Gran Turismo Sport delayed

Sony has announced via the PlayStation blog that Gran Turismo Sport has been delayed to 2017.

The game was originally scheduled to be released in November this year, but Polyphony Digital have decided they need some more time to perfect Gran Turismo Sport.

“We realise we need more time to perfect GT Sport, to which we’ve already dedicated so much effort to since announcing the title, and do not want to compromise the experience.” Polyphony Digital said in a statement. “… we are more committed than ever to making GT Sport the best Gran Turismo game to date.”

Gran Turismo Sport is set to feature Campaign, Sports and Arcade modes, online and offline multiplayer, various online events, PlayStation VR support and a Scapes photo mode. No specific release date in 2017 was mentioned, though hopefully it will arrive sooner rather than later.
