Play New God of War Messenger Game Now!

With marketing in full swing ahead of the God of War launch on April 20, 2018, fans can now experience a God of War Messenger App game. The game is called God of War: A Call from the Wilds and is a bit like an old-school text-based story game.

To participate, all you need is a Messenger/Facebook account, and head to this link to begin. Using codewords like “help” and “inventory” will assist you in your journey.

As you work your way through the chapters of the God of War Messenger App game, you’ll unlock some pretty cool artwork. There are eight pieces of artwork to unlock, all of which are too large for us to host on our servers. Here’s one below that we resized for your/our convenience:

Play as Atreus as you venture into the Norse Wilds beyond your home for the first time. Keep a sharp eye, the woods are full of both unknown danger and undiscovered treasure.
Upon completing the God of War Messenger App game, you’re given links to download the full sized artworks which you can then print, or most likely store in a random folder you’ll never look at again. Still, they’re pretty cool and definitely getting us excited for the game’s launch.

God of War is being developed by the Santa Monica studios of Sony, and will launch exclusively for PlayStation 4 on April 20, 2018.
