October 21, 2021

Continuing the recent trend of PlayStation exclusive games making their way over to the PC, PlayStation have announced that God of War is also making the trip on 14 January, 2022.

The move, which comes after the PS4 version has sold 19.5 million copies, and has been available to PlayStation Plus subscribers on PS5 for free as part of a curated collection, seems like a logical addition to PlayStation’s PC lineup which includes Horizon Zero Dawn, Days Gone, Death Stranding and the new Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves collection set for release next year.

The PC release will feature ultrawide 21:9 support, GTAO and SSDO and NVIDIA Deep Learning Super Sampling. It will also collect several sets of digital content, including:

  • Death’s Vow Armor Sets for Kratos and Atreus

  • Exile’s Guardian Shield Skin

  • Buckler of the Forge Shield Skin

  • Shining Elven Soul Shield Skin

  • Dökkenshieldr Shield Skin
