Gfinity Elite Series Australia Returns for Season 2 this November

October 15, 2018

After achieving 4.8 million views across Twitch and on television via One, the Gfinity Elite Series Australia, presented by Alienware, is set to return this November for its second season.

The first round kicks off on Saturday 3 November at 3PM AEST with CS:GO, before the streams for Rocket League and Street Fighter V begin the following day on Sunday 4 November. Once again, teams representing Australia’s major cities will take part, including returning dominant champions Melbourne ORDER, Melbourne Avant, Sydney Chiefs, Sydney Roar, Brisbane Deceptors and Perth Ground Zero.

“The Challenger Series injected plenty of new blood into the Australian esports community, and it’s inspiring to see these players returning for Season 2,” said Dominic Remond, Gfinity Esports Australia’s CEO. “The performance of draftees like Doom and Syo were integral to the performance of their clubs, and their continued involvement speaks volumes to the system we’ve built.”
The series will conclude with its finals on 15 and 16 December this year. Once again, all of Season 2’s games will be played at the HOYTS Gfinity Esports Arena in the Entertainment Quarter, Moore Park Sydney. Tickets for all matches can be purchased at www.gfinityesports.com.au, and you can catch the streams at twitch.tv/GfinityAU, with video on demand available afterwards.
