Bandai Namco has announced at this year’s Gamescom that Little Nightmares II is in development and will be coming to Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC sometime in 2020.

The trailer showcases footage from the in-game engine and follows on from Six’s escape at the end of the first game. At some point Six will join up with a second character named Mono, with the pair traveling to a new area called the Signal Tower which will play a central role in the story. There is also a new combat mechanic which, from what we can gather based on the trailer, involves using kitchen utensils to defend yourself from harm.
