Game Pass Expands With Bethesda Titles Tomorrow

March 12, 2021

The news that Microsoft were buying Bethesda parent company Zenimax was easily some of the most surprising news to wake up to in my time with gaming. While we all knew that Microsoft was acquiring studios, the concept of them buying one of the biggest third party developers/publishers wasn’t something expect. Yet, here we stand, some months later and the sale has officially gone through, allowing Xbox to begin directly working with Bethesda. Now, Game Pass is expanding with a big old bunch of Bethesda games.

Coming tomorrow to Game Pass is a range of old favourites and modern classics. There’s things like The Elder Scrolls III: MorrowindDOOM Eternal and Prey. For the horror fans there’s The Evil Within, but not The Evil Within 2, implying that the latter may already have a deal in place for something like PlayStation Plus or Now. Altogether, there’s 20 new games coming to Game Pass from Bethesda tomorrow, with the full list shown in the image at the bottom of this article.

Given the promise that all future Bethesda games will also come to Game Pass (as we would expect from now first party developers), it looks like the future is even brighter for Xbox.
