Game-Breaking Final Fantasy XV Bug Patched With New Update

Square Enix has released an update for Final Fantasy XV which is said to fix a game-breaking bug which appeared after their previous patch 1.07. The previous patch included the much anticipated Episode 13, Verse 2, support for Episode Gladiolus DLC, as well as bug fixes and gameplay enhancements but unfortunately brought about a bug which required a critical update.

Final Fantasy XV Patch 1.08’s notes simply read “Bug fix for an error that occurred after casting Alterna on Ifrit”, referring to a battle which takes place towards the end of the game. The patch clocks in at just 574MB and is currently available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Final Fantasy XV’s next episode launches in June and is titled Episode Prompto. A teaser trailer unlocks for it once completing the latest episode, but if you want to see it without the effort of completing the game, you can watch it below:

Final Fantasy XV launched worldwide on November 29, 2016 for Xbox One andPlayStation 4. A Windows PC, Mac or Nintendo Switch version is yet to be confirmed.
