There have been five major free updates since Watch Dogs 2 launched on November 15, 2016, and the game continues to provide new content with the free Watch Dogs 2 party mode being the biggest free update yet. The new four-player party mode will have you and friends participating in online activities together for the first time.

The new party mode will be a free-roam mode with activities such as bounties, invasions, loot trucks, races, showdown, man vs machine robot fights, and DedSec virus events. With all new gear, weapons and locations there has never been a better time to jump back in to Watch Dogs 2.

There will also be a July 4th event running for the entire month in Watch Dogs 2, with fireworks in the skies of San Francisco, as well as the paintball gun only firing red, white and blue paintballs.

Furthermore, the upcoming patch will come with bug fixes and general performance enhancements which have not been revealed yet. Make sure to check back at Rocket Chainsaw as we’ll have the patch notes when they are made available.

Rocket Chainsaw reviewed Watch Dogs 2 last year giving it 4 stars and saying, “Ubisoft’s particular style of open world game … has never been as well done as it is in Watch Dogs 2.”  For more information on the free Watch Dogs 2 party mode, head to the official Ubisoft blog post here.
