Football Manager 2021 Arrives In November

September 26, 2020

While Football Manager is one of the ever present yearly sports titles we’ve come to take for granted, normally the game would have been revealed months ago. This year, as we got closer and closer to the traditional November release window for the series, it felt like maybe this would be the first year in ages that we might not get one. But, right as we come to the end of September, it’s been confirmed that Football Manager 2021 will release on November 24.

With this year’s release, Football Manager will be coming to more platforms than ever, with the game coming to Xbox for the first time in 13 years. The Xbox release also comes with Play Anywhere functionality, meaning your saves will transfer effortlessly beteween the Xbox and Windows 10 versions of the game. The Xbox version of Football Manager 2021 has been modelled off the Touch version of the series that traditionally comes to mobile platforms, along with additional optimisations for Xbox controllers.

Sports Interactive’s studio director, Miles Jacobson, had the following to say about the release:

Football Manager 2021 is an historic release for us as a studio. We’re bringing FM to more platforms than ever before and giving more people the chance to manage their favourite club – whether that’s on their PC, from the comfort of their sofa or on their phone or tablet.”

Football Manager 2021 will release for PC on November 24th, with the mobile and Xbox One versions coming at a later date. For more information, check out the official website.
