Zenimax Online Studios and Bethesda have today announced that the Elder Scrolls Online: Flames of Ambition DLC is live, beginning this year’s Gates of Oblivion story content by delivering two new dungeons, new item sets, achievements and collectibles.

Releasing alongside the paid DLC pack is the free title update 29 which provides players with an update to the Champion System, improved character sheets, and much more. Full patch notes on title update 29 can be found in the official forums.

As stated, the two new dungeons begin the Gates of Oblivion story by bringing enemies out of the gates before you travel inside when the main expansion Blackwood launches later this year. The first dungeon is called Black Drake Villa and will take you through hidden archives to take on the mercenaries of the True-Sworn. The second dungeon is called The Cauldron and will introduce players to the cult of the Walking Flame. Travel through a long-forgotten mine with the help of a familiar face to kill Daedric beasts and free captives while stopping the cult’s evil plan and scoring some sweet loot!

Players can access the Flames of Ambition DLC via an ESO Plus membership or purchase it with Crowns from the in-game Crown Store.
