Final Fantasy XV Update Road Map Includes Changes To Story Content

December 7, 2016

Reports from Gamer.ne.jp (Translated by users on Neogaf) have detailed the short, mid- and long-term update goals for the team behind Final Fantasy XV, and they include some of the most ambitious adjustments to story content and flow than we have ever seen before.

Amid criticism around the final chapter of the game and important events occurring off-screen, the team have proposed a range of changes to improve player’s experiences with the story and also introduce a range of new ways to play the game. The following update goals include some spoiler regarding later events of Final Fantasy XV, so if you haven’t finished the game then you should avoid reading these.

These are certainly larger updates than we have seen to a games story content in the past and suggest that the team at Square Enix want to make sure that player’s feedback is taken on board and the experience is the absolute best that it can be. There is no current timeline for when these updates would possible be released, but we will keep you updated as more information becomes available.
