Square Enix have taken to the stage during their Final Fantasy 30th anniversary opening ceremony to partially reveal the planned timeline for Final Fantasy XV’s upcoming DLC.

Beginning on February 21st, less then 3 weeks from now, you will be able to get your hands on the new Final Fantasy XV Booster Pack (Free Version) and Final Fantasy XV Booster Pack +. Both packs will be available to Final Fantasy XV season pass, with only the free version being available to owners of Final Fantasy XV who have not purchased the season pass. The packs will introduce a range of powerful weapons, including the ‘Magitek Exosuits’ that turn Noctis and his crew into Power Rangers cosplayers.

On March 28th, the first of the 3 planned Final Fantasy XV character episodes will become available, with Episode Gladio being the first to release. In this episode you will be able to play as Gladio on a new adventure, with screenshots also showing that Cor will return to the fray in this episode. No other details about the episode are known at this time, except that Gilgamesh will appear in it. Episode Gladio will be available to download for Final Fantasy XV season pass and premium edition owners and can also be purchased separately.

Beyond Episode Gladio, it was revealed that the next character episode to release will be Episode Prompto, which will come some time in June 2017. No details were revealed for Prompto’s newest adventure or for when we could expect to see Ignis’s character episode.

Final Fantasy XV is available now for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
