Square Enix has today revealed a rather unexpected and amazing DLC which is launching next week, Final Fantasy XV Assassin’s Festival. The festival will merge the Final Fantasy universe with the Assassin’s Creed universe and includes Assassin’s Creed style combat and gameplay in the already amazing Final Fantasy XV world.

The limited time Assassin’s Festival is free to play and will include mini-games as well as the chance to obtain the Medjay Assassin’s Robes for Noctis, Gladiolus, Ignis and Prompto. The item will appear in a Dream Egg which can be obtained through the Moogle Chocobo Carnival, which ends in late September.

We also revealed yesterday that Final Fantasy XV will be coming to PC and mobile devices, possibly paving the way for a Nintendo Switch version in the future.
