Fez is a game that seems to have been in development for years now, primarily because it has, and while the game receives high praise almost every time developer Polytron shows it off, it’s fair to say that it was rapidly turning into the Duke Nukem Forever of the indie game world.

Well, no longer. Fez has a release date, and that date is Friday the 13th of April on XBox Live Arcade. (Epilepsy warning: Link contains brain-destroying colour flashes.)

For those who still haven’t heard of it, Fez is an platformer with a rotation mechanic that allows you to rotate the level around to unlock hidden areas and progress. It’s probably easier to show than to explain…
