As we eagerly await the release of Shin Megami Tensei V and an announcement of the next Persona instalment, Atlus are keeping busy with other releases. Just over a month from now will see the release of Shin Megami Tensi III: Nocture HD Remaster, an upgraded version of the beloved PlayStation 2 game. As we get closer to that release date, Atlus have released a brand new Faction & Choices trailer for SMT III: Nocturne HD Remaster.
The trailer introduces a number of characters and paths you can follow in SMT III: Nocturne HD Remaster’s post-apocalyptic Tokyo. Playing as the Demi-fiend, you’ll be able to align yourself with one path, and this trailer gives you a glimpse of your options.
The HD remaster also introduces a number of other upgrades and tweaks that alter the experience of the original game. There’s remaster 3D models and backgrounds, additional difficulty settings including an easier difficulty level available as free DLC, the ability to suspend and save your progress anywhere, as well as the ability to swap between Japanese and English VO. There’s also plenty of patches and fixes that have been made since the game’s release in Japan.
Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster releases for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 on May 25th. For more information, check the official website.
