F1 2021 Features Trailer Brakes on Point

June 17, 2021

It’s that time of the year again when we see Codemasters ramp up their marketing for the launch of another Formula 1 game, so let’s take a look at what’s new in the official F1 2021 features trailer.

F1 2021 will feature a thrilling new story, on and off track drama set across three seasons in the new Braking Point story mode. There are five selectable teams in career mode which can be played two-player either co-op or versus. F1 2021 will feature new season driver stats that are updated during the season. The Digital Deluxe Edition will include seven exclusive My Team icons.

Given F1 2021 is of course the official licenced game, it will feature a real season start following the current ever-changing pandemic-ridden Formula 1 2021 calendar. MyTeam mode will feature department events and a streamlined presentation making it easier to find what you want.

F1 2021 also accomodates for casual and standard play styles, giving you splitscreen and online social options for racers that don’t want to take things too seriously. The definitive esports experience however will have us on the edge of our seats watching the best of the best duke it out and get lap times as fast as the actual real-world F1 drivers.

Rocket Chainsaw has been eagerly following the development of F1 2021 since its announcement in April, and you can read more about that in our coverage here.
