F1 2018 Dev Diary 4: Art & Audio

August 21, 2018

Codemasters has today released the F1 2018 Dev Diary 4 video which will be the final entry in the Making Headlines series ahead of the game’s launch later this week. In this week, Art Director Stuart Campbell goes in to great detail about the skies, the environment, and even how the dust naturally leaves the track as you scream around the iconic F1 circuits.

The first instalment of the “Making Headlines” developer diaries focused on career development and how your choices you make off the track will be just as important. You can check out Rocket Chainsaw’s coverage of the F1 2018 dev diary 1 here. The second instalment focused on car research and development, which you can check out here. The third F1 2018 dev diary focused on car handling.

Check out the final part of our developer diaries for F1® 2018, the official videogame of the 2018 FIA FORMULA ONE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP™. Rocket Chainsaw reviewed F1 2017 when it launched in August last year, giving it 4.5 stars, calling it “hands down the best F1 game of all time.” It will be interesting to see how they improve on it this year.
