Experience The Long Shadow And More In NBA 2K21

As far as gaming constants go, yearly sports releases are one of the truest constants there are. Year after year, they’re there ready for you to dive in and experience them. While many sports games have focused on just the gameplay, 2K’s NBA 2K series has long given a massive spotlight to its MyCareer modes. After giving us details on MyTeam last week, we’ve now got the lowdown on NBA 2K21’s narrative The Long Shadow.

The Long Shadow follows Junior, the son of a basketball legend balancing legacy and trying to carve his own path through high school and college on his way to the NBA. As part of this narrative, NBA 2K21 will for the first time include licensed college basketball programs as part of The Long Shadow: Michigan State, UConn, Florida, Gonzaga, Syracuse, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, UCLA, Villanova University and West Virginia. Build your legend to make it to the draft, before working through management, team interview and the NBA Combine to improve your draft stock and get yourself as high in the draft as possible.

Tired of being cooped up inside and want something a little bit different to take part in? Jump on over to 2K Beach. You might have seen the Neighborhood before, but you’ve never seen it quite like this. NBA 2K21’s virtual neighbourhood is a little different this year, taking the form of the 2K Beach, a sunny and open areas where you can play 5v5 ProAm games, jump into some 3v3 streetball runs or just gab some new in-game gear or sock up the sun.

The details don’t end there now, with plenty more coming to NBA 2K21. The WNBA is back in NBA 2K21, with both Play Now and Season modes, and all 12 teams in the league included. MyGM/MyLEAGUE is here as well, where you can take over a franchise or league and make all the biggest and most important decisions.

NBA 2K21 releases on September 4th for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X versions coming later in 2020. For more information, check out the official website.
