EPOS Announces EPOS|Sennheiser GSX 300 External Sound Card

July 16, 2020

EPOS is quickly becoming incredibly well known for their high quality gaming headsets, with both the EPOS|Sennheiser GSP 370 and 670 receiving highly positive reviews on our site. Headsets are only one part of the gaming audio puzzle though, and can quickly run into issues if the quality of sound being routed out of your PC isn’t great to begin with. To help fix that issue and expand their product suite, EPOS have announced the EPOS|Sennheiser GSX 300, a brand new external sound card for PC.

The GSX 300 promises a lot in a small package, with a minimalist design aesthetic meant to make it look at home no matter your chosen setup. On the front there’s only a volume dial, which is synchronised to your PC’s sound controls, as well as a ‘smart’ button that you can configure with different profiles or use to swap between stereo and surround sound.

That’s the other big feature of the GSX 300, with it supporting customisable 7.1 surround sound through their proprietary EPOS Gaming Suite software. You’ll also get the benefit of game-by-game digital sound processing and integrated noise cancelling. Given you can plug any old headset with a 3.5mm jack into the GS X 300, it’s the type of product that’s usable in almost all gaming setups.

The EPOS|Sennheiser GSX 300 is available for purchase right now at a retail cost of $129.95. For more information, head over to EPOS’s website.
