The Elder Scrolls VI Is Not Being Developed, Two Other Games Coming First

October 27, 2016

A twitter exchange has ultimately ended in the official revelation that Bethesda are not developing The Elder Scrolls VI. Comments earlier in the year had stated that they would work on it eventually, but many fans took this to mean development would begin after DLC for Fallout 4 was complete.

It turns out that this isn’t the case, with confirmation that there are two other games that Bethesda Game Studios plans to develop before working on The Elder Scrolls VI. Could one of these potentially be a new Fallout title, a brand new IP or maybe even a sequel to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim without numbering it as VI.

One thing is for sure, no matter what Bethesda Game Studios is working on, it will be some time before it is unveiled.
