E3 2018: Check Out The Free E3 Twitch Elder Scrolls Online Ice Wolf Mount

If you were lucky enough to watch the Bethesda E3 presentation live on Twitch and had your Elder Scrolls Online account linked (even if you linked it during the show) you should now have an e-mail in your inbox letting you know that you have a new mount in game. The new Elder Scrolls Online Ice Wolf mount is a limited edition mount that stands tall and will be a nice fit to the newly announced Wolfhunter DLC pack that was revealed during the E3 2018 Bethesda Press Conference.

Also promised in the e-mail is five free Ouroboros Crown Crates. We can confirm that the crates have not yet appeared in the Crown Crates menu as of posting this article, and our sources suggest they will appear in your game within the next 48 hours, so don’t stress just yet.

And now compare the E3 Twitch Elder Scrolls Online Ice Wolf mount to the Karthwolf Charger mount which came with the collectors edition of the Horns of the Reach DLC pack that launched last year after Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind:

We can see the same model was used for the mount but it has been stripped of everything but its saddle and straps around its legs. It was a fun mount to ride for a few months last year and the new Ice Wolf will definitely be a talking point over the next few months.

Rocket Chainsaw reviewed the most recent expansion The Elder Scrolls Online: Summerset when it launched on June 5, 2018, giving it 4 stars and explaining it “has some of the most gorgeous vistas you’ll find in a video game. The amazing architecture of the cities on Summerset Isle (my favourite is Lillandril), mixed with sweeping ocean views, rocky waterfalls, or lush green areas makes the Summerset Isles the absolute prettiest part of Tamriel.

The Elder Scrolls Online DLC ‘Wolfhunter’ will arrive in the 3rd quarter of 2018, while The Elder Scrolls Online DLC ‘Murkmire’ will arrive in the holiday season.

The Elder Scrolls Online is available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC. For more on Elder Scrolls Online, head to the official website here.
