The announcement of The Elder Scrolls Legends tonight was certainly a surprising one to most.

What is clearly Bethesda’s answer to Hearthstone, The Elder Scrolls Legends is a digital-card game, soon to be available on both PC and iOS.

Though no gameplay was shown during Bethesda’s conference, some artwork in the video included Ghouls, Khajiit, Orcs, and Wood Elves. The excitement alone from the announcement of The Elder Scrolls Legends is enough to start the hype-train going.

The Elder Scrolls Legends is expected to be released later this year, for both iOS and PC.
