EA Play Lineup Revealed for June 2017

March 25, 2017

As many will remember, during E3 2016, EA was not a part of the main show floor of the convention, instead setting up their own unique showcase titled ‘EA Play’ at the nearby LA Live complex. That format was obviously successful enough for a repeat, as EA have announced EA Play’s return during E3 2017, in Hollywood, as well as what titles we can expect to see at the event.

From 11 June – 13 June, EA will be showcasing the next Star Wars Battlefront and Need for Speed ‘experiences’ – which could mean sequels, DLC or something new. Of course, there’ll also be the latest refresh of their sports line, including Madden NFL 18, FIFA 18, and NBA Live 18. EA also promise more announcements in the coming months.

Tickets to EA Play will be open to the public, if you happen to be around the Los Angeles area in June, being made available from 2AM AEST on 21 April. The entire event will also have plenty of online content for people at home, from ‘gameplay deep dives, competitive events and exclusive interviews with the development teams’.

The mere mention of Star Wars Battlefront will be enough to get many gamers excited, so let us know what you’re looking forward to at EA Play this year on social, or what you think is yet to be announced…
