Once again, EA has ditched E3 proper to set up their own EA-centric event outside the confines of the LA Convention Center, with the EA Play event taking place over the weekend in the Hollywood Palladium. It’s here that not only media and influencers can play the latest EA titles, but the general public is also allowed in to get a sneak-peak across the full range as well.
Of course, this also means that EA still has their own conference to kick off the weekend, and there were plenty of announcements, although not much we didn’t already know about aside from a few tid-bits here and there. See below for a full-list of our coverage of announcements from the showcase:
- Battlefield V will get a Battle Royale mode after launch, ‘No Loot Boxes’, and a trailer at tomorrow’s Xbox conference.
- Anthem is out 22 February 2019, and a heap of gameplay was shown off
- Respawn announced their Star Wars game is ‘Jedi: Fallen Order’ and is set between Episodes III and IV
- Unravel Two was announced and released today
